Franchise stack: what belongs in the box
We've packaged 11 franchises since 2021. Sharing which documents and software are mandatory and which can wait until partner #5.
Creastra Digest
- Concession + ops + brand + LMS — this is the baseline
- Reporting and BI can wait, but no later than partner #3
- Re-cut the financial model every six months — not once-and-done
A franchise isn't a logo and a website. It's an ops manual a partner can open at 7am on a Saturday and know what to do.
Minimum at launch
- Concession contract (not lease)
- 60–120 page ops manual
- Figma brand book + ad templates
- An LMS for line-staff training
- A unit-economics sheet filled from a live unit
What gets added by partner #3
With 1 partner an Excel report is fine. By partner #3 you need a dashboard: revenue by location, food cost, churn. Otherwise differing interpretations of numbers will burn the relationship in a quarter.
Living financial model
A model goes stale in 6 months. Recompute it from actual partner data, not founder forecasts. This rule saved two projects from early termination.
